This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of massage therapy, provided by Mor Sunthorn
Nimnom, a Thai indigenous medical practitioner, in patients who had been diagnosed with frozen
shoulder by a physician. Forty subjects were selected using the accidental sampling method. Data
were obtained by interviewing the subjects, before and after the treatment, and then analyzed
using paired-sample t-test. The results indicated that the pain, range of motion, and function of
the shoulders improved significantly after treatment (p-value < 0.001).
